Nostalgia

I am thinking to write down
elegantly those sweet small
moments that we've been shared
together to every petal, every leaf,
every branch of a myrtle tree,

so when we're far away
from each other, I'll just sit down
under its shade, like a lonely lady
recalling the sugary bits
while watching

the warmth and alluring chemistry
of the two doves teasing in its twigs.
