- Norway In Virus Quarantine -

A significantly different day
                 No bread or milk
empty for toilet paper
Reduced opening hours in grocery stores
-  Home insulation with
   respiratory infection
Rationing on medicines
School closes -
no leisure activities
                 No daycare
                 No bus or taxi
                 No traveling abroad
All aboard aircraft and boat
must in quarantine
Large preventive measure
Dramatic cut in hotel beds
The church cancels all services
Closed office buildings
                 No cinema or theater
Today our first victim
as a result of the coronavirus
My deepest condolences to the family

 ~ "Normal life" is paused
                 Let this time bring out the best in us

Vladislav Raven March 25, 2020 at 10:59 AM Hi Anne-Lise, an excellent write you have penned on the Corona virus. The one thing I don't understand, the run on toilet paper. I also think, people should leave some soap for others. Nappies, flying off the shelves. Sooner or later the stores shall have to say you can only get so much of each item. Toilet paper is going out the stores so fast and not sure why that is as it does not give you the runs. Do people think they are never venturing out until next winter? Oh well, the same effects are being felt all over the world Anne-Lise. It just should show us that we are truly one community... Demetrios Trifiatis March 13, 2020 at 7:12 AM Yesterday we had our first dead and 120 people infected by the virus. In Italy close to 900 dead and 50.000 infected. Here, as in your country the same things take place. Let us hope that the nightmare will not last long! Good you have written this poem my dearest. THANK YOU FOR CARING. Jan Allison March 12, 2020 at 3:15 PM So many areas are suffering Anne-Lise the press is teeming with news on the virus and life seems to be on hold sadly the situation is only going to get worse as the virus has taken a grip in so many places.
