Thanks Paul - it is a year since dad died - we went to the same annual function yesterday and had a lovely stay in the hotel - they sat me next to a vicar for the second year in a row ... I've written a poem about it I need to finish it and post it :-) hugs Jan xx

Now you know normally I would never critique a poem never mind a beauty as this one, however, did it cross you mind, that the last line might read "Vaso paints our skies" ? :) Hugs! ( I said Vaso not....)

This is really pretty, Jan. I need to get mine up soon too. I did not realize the folks at the top of the snow mountain were skiers, but I hope mine still works!!

I've never seen the northern lights, only pictures. As a one time art writer, I think Turner better fits the photograph. Just my opinion. As for my take on the Pope's estimation of Mr. Trump, the Pope would do well to keep his nose out of politics altogether, and concern himself with spiritual as did the man he claims to follow. / M

I have never seen the Northern lights either - would love to see them one day they look so stunning. I will look at Turner's paintings - thanks for the suggestion:-) I agree with you regrading the Pope and Trump - some thoughts need to be kept private and he shouldn't get involved in political matters - the press are having a field day as a result:-( Hugs jan xx
