Northern Light Angel

In twilight beneath the tapestries of stars
She silently pulled on her slippers
To dance upon the earth's orb
Twinkling star dust with each step
She whirled around the heavens
Light followed in her foot steps
Each step illuminated the sky
The angel created a magical glow
The sky became vibrant shades
as she danced across the sky
Her unsurpassed beauty and inner glow
humbled my senses as she flowed
She left quickly and left me longing for more.

Dear Phyllis,Hope this finds You and Yours Healthy and High in the Spirit. The imagery is so clear, I can see the Angel dancing across the evening sky "She left quickly and left me longing for more" also. When I was young my grandpa took me to Canada to watch the "Northern Light Angel" dancing thru the night skys. Great Pen LOVE YOU ALWAYS and FOREVER YOUR Eternal Liege...Harry

Phyllis your poem evokes whimsy and magical visions of surrealism. It challenges my imagination to believe. Warm Smiles Connie

A lovely view and lovely poem Phyllis. - Have you seen the Northern Lights? - North in Norway is much northern light, but it's far from where I live, I've never seen it in real life. -Have a nice Sunday. - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)
