Notes About The Poem

Poem written for and submitted to “Personally Speaking” poetry contest, Nette Onclaud, sponsor, November 1, 2025.

NORTHERN BOREALIS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aurora swirls over icy earth where her breath casts colors through cold midnight air. Her gown shimmers a shifting spectral light, silent and bright through cold Icelandic night. Frozen fjords, her audience below, mirror her brilliance in shimmering glow. Jagged peaks stand witness to fleeting art~ a masterpiece shaped with God’s heart.
This is beautiful, Sara. I hope you are not angry at me for doing the same prompt. I had already started mine when I saw you had done the same one. I did it my own way, though...not exactly personification, so Nette might disqualify me in the end. But I like where my muse took me with it, good luck, a winner for sure <3 Hugs
