Nomad

To all the nomads I've ever known,
The ones who moved from place to place.
   Forever seeking people, places, things,
That they have always sought to know.

   You've added to my life,
   Sometimes resonance,
   Sometimes strife,
   As you come and go.

   Occasionally I've followed you,
   Challenging the accepted mores,
   Of everything you do.

   We've walked on many shores,
   Knocked on assorted doors.
   Always passing through,
   Drifting as you will.

   We've faded into crowds,
   Never very loud.
   Staying in historic places,
   Where other nomads have been.

   Living many lives,
   That society has not seen.
   Forever moving on,
   Nomads are free!

Interesting ink, Kim! And come to think of it, nomads = to never get mad either! Happy trails, Gershon

I rarely get mad, but do try to get readers to think. Thanks for the comment.
