No Words:

As I watch the clock with writer's block,
Await my Muse, has she forgot?
The wee small hours come tumbling in,
My heads not here so where's it been?

A flurry of thoughts for different parts,
But no first line on where to start,
So forgive me if I sound absurd,
I have no answers! I have no words!

Ohhhh WRITERS BLOCK I hate that!. Man I had that about two months ago, it drove me nuts, luckily Wesley and I started collaborating around that time and that helped me overcome it. Fun poem about a nasty 'disease' :)

A very humbling and amusing poem, Rick. Every poet/poetess has been there. Downtime is what I call it in one of my poems w/that being the title of the poem. I've yet to put it on this site though. It's coming. As for this poem, it reflects so perfectly the dreaded writer's block. Kudos to you on this baby gem. Ty for your kind comments on "Sands of Eternity." Appreciate the love. Ty for sharing this w/us. Love you, bruh.

You are a refreshing change to the norm Freddie, and I am grateful to have met you on this site, feel free to simply chat if you desire too, I too enjoy the friendly outputs as much as the poetry sometimes. You are most inspiring my new soup friend, and genuine to boot. And I thank you for that /|\
