Jennifer Proxenos Poet Rhyme

No Winner

Ukraine and Russia, what a dire predicament, an anticipated situation,
Muscles being flexed, by both sides, world jittery expecting confrontation,
A conspiracy theory, answer perhaps to depopulation?	
So many hungry and dying in every nation,
With this thought in mind, full steam ahead, no dissuasion!
I am not a conspiracy theory fan, realize politics are for politicians
Humanity however, knows not the truth, dreading a Ukraine invasion,
West and Ukraine together, but Russia’s equation?
More than likely China, what a combination,
Millions will die, someone please use your powers of persuasion.

Gershon Wolf January 22, 2022 at 6:16 PM What's troubling to me is this: So few realize that Russia invaded the Donbuss region of Ukraine in 2014. Since then, thousands have died in a war fiercer than anything US troops experienced in Iraq or Afghanistan. Putin's just widening the scope of his ambitions here. (I really don't know what he's waiting for. Biden won't lift a finger to stop him, nor will NATO, and the whole world knows it). ~ More bloodshed ahead Joseph P.
