I met you once, and I was a bit intrigued. I met you twice, and I was a bit fatigued. The third time’s a charm is what they always say And we live that to its fullest every day. After just a few dates, we knew it was right So, we up and got married, to our friends’ delight. From the very start, we knew that it would last. We’ve spent a lifetime creating our own past. It’s been fifty years and we’re still going strong. Every day together, we’ve gotten along. Who knew that, in reality, all it took Was a little bit of love and someone to cook.
