no title

like morse code
you read the rhythm of my breath

                            whispered my name
                   long before an SOS

       saved me
    sustained me
                  absorbed my emptiness

Jin-ju, I do like how you leave us to imagine what helped you. Whatever it was, it's wonderful that it happened. Many of us know how short life is, don't expect a second go-around, and that being full of happiness makes for a great experience. Sending you nothing but smiles!!! Hope you are feeling complete...a real accomplishment indeed!!

This is a beautiful verse Jin, and not a bit of fluff to be seen, just innate effortless expression, (whispered my name long before an SOS) wish I had thought up that line, delighted to meet you, cheers David

I wish I had a more extensive back catalogue but thank you for your kindness on this one. If I cast my mind back I think I tried to write a longer poem but this little bit I chose to post. It's very nice when a poet covets a line - I'm flattered! Glad to see your poem made the headlines :)

I hope you will add more poetry to your name. Like, David, I've been spending more time elsewhere... where the air is not as toxic. I'm happy to have made an acquaintance with you and your creativeness.

I was delighted to discover David's poetry and within what felt like seconds was ridiculed for a mention of fortune cookies, alongside the poem itself being mocked - it just crossed a line. As I mentioned I'd seen the behaviour from the commenter on another poet (who sadly is rarely posting now). A very strange event indeed!
