No Tangerine Skies

     This poem is not a contest entry
        It’s easy to see why

     No romance, flowers, adorable pets
        or tangerine skies... 


     No clever quips or double-takes
        My funny-bone breaks when they up the stakes

     It’s just a poem with a simple message
        Stay away from politicians and snakes
