Warmed by the silicon chip,
glacial ice melts drip by drip,
And as waters worldwide rise,
floods should come as no surprise.
Tinder forests are burning,
and famine is returning.
And those uprooted by drought,
will find there is no way out.
Mega storms will terrorize
with winds and all that implies.
And when disease and death spread,
you'll be either sick or dead.
Global warming is no myth;
the world must prepare forthwith.
For Man's future is at stake,
there's no time to bellyache.
Wars will breed border disputes
as folks wander without roots.
And when plastics kill the fish,
hope will morph into a wish.
