No Spares

After a heavy rain,
Water was still floating,
Roads were closed and
Traffic was terribly affected.

When I came out from my class,
I went to walk to a bus stop,
Hardly had I reached there,
A young girl starts to beg.

I check my pocket,
There were no spares,
But she was repeating continue,
A sir, I am hungry for three days.

A gentleman offers him a twenty,
If she shall go with him,
But she was still staring at me,
I have decided to walk five miles.

After a long time,
When I saw her again,
It was very hot day,
She was begging for her child.
