Notes About The Poem

No Respect

There once was a man whose intellect
He did not at anytime neglect
His imagination dull
New ideas he would cull
From his colleagues received no respect

Albert Einstein quoted as saying, "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but
imagination".

Richard, You have gone back and found a very old one. Yes, it is one to think about. Imagination is the best nation on earth. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Dear Sara, I saw this quote previously and you hit the nail on the head with your witty write. Kept thinking of Rodney Dangerfield's "no respect" attitude. Imagination often supersedes intelligence. My sis says she got the brains and beauty and I got imagination and better nails. LOL Enjoyed! Love, Carolyn
