No Passion For Fashion

I never cared for the fashion
It never was a real passion
Which dress was in style
What shirt brought a smile

None of it really mattered
I had no care of what flattered
Jeans or simple slacks
I just wanted to relax

When it came down to it
I didn’t care if it were knit
So long as I was dressed
I certainly wasn’t stressed

Great write Gina, indeed why so many want to be in fashion I'll never know and as you convey better to be cool relaxed and at peace. Blessings and prayers, Gordon

Don't you love to be around people who know how to relax? It's easier to be upbeat when we're comfortable. The dresses are bad enough, but the shoes they make today... Love your entry for the contest, Gina. Best wishes for a win, Carolyn

I love the movie, “The Devil Wears Prada” where the discussion of fashion is discussed. “When in fact, your wearing a sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room, from a pile of...stuff” I like to be comfortable too :)

Amen. Regina! You read my mind. I remember my daughter (years ago) sometimes saying to me, "You're not leaving the house like that, are you!?" Janice
