No Other Place To Be

No Other Place To Be

I came upon an ad one day
it spoke about a group.
A place in time a place in rhyme
a place called Poetry Soup.

I came I looked to see what's here
I came I looked and saw.
The greatest of the greatest.
I looked at them in awe.

I've searched this whole world over.
This whole world did I roam.
I landed here at Poetry Soup,
cause Soup had called me home.

The life I lived along the way
so much I can't control.
A place to tell the story.
The outpouring of my soul.

Not seeking fame or fortune
there's no other place to be.
Than here with people with like hearts
just like the heart in me.
