No matter what, no other elephant will do
This was relayed to me by my friend Cute Sue
She was dancing ahead of a flock of them too
They were not dainty, and they left patties in a slew
We call them elephant pies, she said, do you?
Not from Kenya,I had no prior knowledge of elephant pooh.
I guess I will now, I said to my new friend Sue.
She said, do not step on one no matter what you do.
The elephant rolled his eyes and winked; his eyes were blue.
I am the leader of this pack, he said. You can call me tutu.
I was excited to meet him, and said “how do you do?”
By then he was gone, bathing in a river with his crew.
