No Other Call

No other call, could bring in more love, Through a baby’s crying tears, than a mother. No other call, could erase with ease, A child’s first manifesting fears. No other call, could give confidence, To the growing young, as a righteous mother, For she is a special breed, endowed by God, to fill all needs. She loves the call she’s been given. Mothers are given special wisdom in love. It comes to them, in lieu of who they really are. Daughters, who are the balance of God’s nurturing glory, Fulfilling His eternal works of art. No other call could be so great, As to give life for another. And yet, the closest I know of, Is the sacred call of mother. They stand fast and strong, Against the cowardly wrong. Living what they know brings, Love and peace, to divine beings. When the stakes are high, And the road so long, They hold on faithful, Until the family’s wolf is gone. I give credit, love and gratitude, To my mother, who’s lived her life like Christ. She did as was asked of her, And is still our shining pillar.
