No One Ever Knew

No one ever said I love the way you are I never got the letters I wanted to be sent And no one ever knew About the desperate notes on my mirror And never knew when I pretended that I didn't write them And the secret presents never came no matter how long I stood waiting And the letters I so desperately wanted to come I wonder if I'm just making it up Did anyone notice?
