No One Could Heal Me But You, My God

Convicted was my soul with humanity’s befallen verdict Deliberately transgressing sovereign laws Affirming carnal nature flaws… Yet You, God Almighty, quickened my soul along divine edict. Midst condemnation, my heart was terrified Frightened to face death’s agonizing seizure With horrifying sting of grave-pressure… Still, You offered me redemption-grace, never will depart. From wrath of hell’s torturing perseverance Admonishing with unceasing mockery Disabling triumphant zest by woeful misery… In Your compassion, You granted me eternal deliverance. Against threats toward perishing, grievously imminent I found myself imprisoned, chained in hopelessness Being guilty of iniquities and sinfulness… My spirit, You braced upon Your forgiveness’ empowerment. Saviour of mine, You deserved my thanks and worship For caring for me so much, wondrously marvelous Granting me genuine freedom, indeed miraculous... Now and forever, You own me; I yield to Your leadership. Conqueror with loving kindness, that’s You Lord and Christ** of my life … mercifully ruling In You, I’m protected around Your mighty sealing... Against eternal sin-caused pandemic, no one could save me but You.

Such a glorifying and uplifting piece Beata, I love the title as it sums the whole piece up. Blessings, Gordon
