Midst condemnation, my heart was terrified Frightened to face death’s agonizing seizure With horrifying sting of grave-pressure… Still, You offered me redemption-grace, never will depart. From wrath of hell’s torturing perseverance Admonishing with unceasing mockery Disabling triumphant zest by woeful misery… In Your compassion, You granted me eternal deliverance. Against threats toward perishing, grievously imminent I found myself imprisoned, chained in hopelessness Being guilty of iniquities and sinfulness… My spirit, You braced upon Your forgiveness’ empowerment.
