No offense
I plan my actions carefully
A good impression is the key
I’d rather die than have the people
Think not nice of me
I’ll smile when it’s required
I’ll nod no matter what
Yes, even when I don’t agree
I’ll keep them tight and shut
Why should I be authentic?
It is not worth the fuss
Excuse me therefore if at times
You’re thrown under the bus
Because I take no chances
And you should understand
I know I gave you wrong ideas
But it is all staged and planned
Just play along, take no offense
My reputation is at stake
Be glad that I am still your friend
Even though I’m just a fake.
