This was funny but more intense than your normal poetry my friend. It does create a picture and your humor is always a welcome part, no matter what the subject.

I've written funny poems about blood tests and mammograms I try and deal with this stuff with humour, but smear tests are vital and its important for ladies to get them done when they are offered an appointment:-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks Paul it is a serious subject and I wish every woman would attend the tests they offer and also that it was offered at a younger age as unfortunately age is no barrier to cervical cancer :-( hugs jan xx

:) This is a great limerick, Jan. Had a great laugh when I got to the last line. Love the way you rhymed akimbo, bimbo and Jimbo. Very creative and witty! Hugs, carolyn

Thanks Carolyn I had mine done last week and I have never written a humourous poem on the subject. Its not something I lookforward to having done as it is so intrusive but five minutes of embarrassment can save your life:-) hugs Jan xx

Jan, a serious subject, but I must admit I have no idea about what half of the words in your limerick mean :) Time for decent investigation, be right back as soon as I know more!

Akimbo = hand on hip or elbow // Nookie: the act of getting it on, making whoopie 0.o // whatever that means lol... and here I was thinking I master the language pretty good hahaha
