Notes About The Poem

No No No No Customer Support

I timidly knocked on his office door, covered my ears for his usual roar as I knew he would let fly THE ANSWER'S NO, NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT - he’s such a churlish guy THE ANSWER'S NO, NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT... in the past he’d made me cry THE ANSWER'S NO, NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT was his bog standard reply It’s your invite to the staff party you said no so now I’ll say goodbye! 12/15/18

Serves him right, Jan. The door to my office is always open, so just walk in when you feel like it, considering you have a spare invite now:) Hugs // paul

Hi Jan, Funny how we have pre-determined ideas of people, but a great deal of this supposition is partly their own fault because of attitude. A wonderful lesson for all to keep in mind, but we nevertheless and inevitably sometimes fall into this embarrassing trap! I see your Christmas gift is your son coming home, mine too, Ricky and Robyn alternate Christmas's with Robyns family, last year was her parents this year is all mine! A blessed Christmas to you and yours! Lots of hugs Jan, Jennifer.

Hubby and I aren't even giving eachother gifts this year - I still have to get him a proper present for his birthday (I shared his gift with mum) his cancer was a wake up call to what is important and nice as they are, its not material gifts. Having my son home is the best gift a mother can have, I truly want for nothing more:-) hugs Jan xx

I used to work in a place where you were almost scared to venture to see the IT support person so I've based the poem on them a little bit with a lot of poetic licence lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Jan, cute one... It reminded me of one of my principals.. that was not so nice and wanted to be treated like a Queen.. The problem with that was that I loved my job with the kids and no matter how much she cut my hours I wouldn't quit. Then she called me at the beginning of the school year and said my position wasn't open.. That was fine because the other principle I worked for said good your hired here with tons of more hours.. They loved me there and the kids were older ...I haven't been entering as many contest. i cannot seem to find one that I understand what they want or have desire to write.. I think it is just my mood.

Wow what a nasty person Eve but you came off much better in the end. I enter fewer and fewer contests too, this was just a fun write not for any contest:-) hugs Jan xx
