No Mother Nature Today

I see the scape that is in front of me There is no green today, no sound, Just views from the window pane Looking down on a life size model Cars like cutouts, lined up all in a row A visual from an architect’s mind The sky is blue, the tar is black Concrete paths so crisp and new I don’t hear the sweetness of a birds call Or the leaves shimmering from the breeze No remnants of rain been and gone I guess mother- nature is absent today Preparing for her moments to shine On a scene that is still yet to be A place where her magic will breathe Life, into the architects dream

Nature is such a solace for me and how we value her more when she is missing. Love your style. SuZ

Written like an artists painting... I'm seeing what you see. :o)

All that we now see will eventually be eaten up by mother nature. We are but temporary guests which will one day wear out our welcome. Great poem!
