No, More Opinions

If I rant about race I’m racist. If I speak on sex I’m sexist. I convey a hearty compliment I’m sexually harassing. I speak of stature I’m body shaming. I pronounce on politics I’m partisan. I fight for liberty I’m a terrorist. The line these days to tread so fine. All my intentions positive Now misconstrued negative. Hence now I promise pledge Not to err by airing my views But all in my mind to restfully reside. But when my mouth does breaks its seal And an opinion does decide to depart And often it will intentionally do, I PRAY. I’m sure a suit I will land With damages to pay Only if imprisonment slips away. This, I don’t mind anyway. By then the truths’ travelled realms, Seen ears and felt eyes, Heard brains and pondered hearts. My soul’s aim achieved.
