No More Get-Up-And-Go
I'm tired, I ache,
everything's sore.
I kicked off my shoes
as I walked in the door.
Poured myself wine,
curled up in a chair.
It's a Friday night
but what do I care.
Too tired to party.
Those days have passed.
It's p.j.'s and T.V.
I'm comfy at last.
Getting old is the pits
and I needed to vent
since my get-up-and-go.
it got up and went.
