No Mercy From Change
Through the ashes and the flames,
The heat and the decay,
One thing arises, as it always does
For things do not simply end.
They recycle,
an infinite loop of time,
Ending and beginning,
To only end again.
People seem to think they know change.
That they can control it,
Leash it up like a dog,
As if it were not a god that we bow down to.
But change is not dumb and it is not humble.
It has an ego as big as infinity,
And there's nothing we can do about it.
For change will always come when we least expect it.
Even in the supposed end of times,
it will always come and we will go to it,
Crawling on our knees,
Begging for it to change to the good of our desires.
