No Limits

Why should I desire a piece of land with boundaries,
when I may gain the whole earth?
Why settle for a nugget of gold,
when I already posses the greatest treasure?
How limited is my sight,
when I close my eyes of faith.
How futile is my thinking,
when I seek only this temporary place.

So I will turn my eyes toward the heavens,
stretch out my arms to my God above,
Up towards my eternal inheritance –
where I will fully know boundless joy and love.

As I walk and live by faith in the Lord,
I plead that He will help me see,
That there is a reward in all this waiting,
blessings today and tomorrow – for all eternity.
