No Getting Over Me
So to others it might seem
That you have surely gotten over me
But as for me, I'm not so easy to convince, that I don't believe
I'm the every dream that keeps you awake
I'm the one with whom sweet love you want to make
I"m the very reason your heart forsakes
And I'm who's there with you in each step you take
I think when you often think of me, I know you do, your heart more and more tends to break
So much isn't the pain, the agony, and how your mind aches
What's a crying shame is because of her our friendship had to end
I would say she realizes that you and I have always been more than just friends
And she's running scared
Hopeing that our love will die and for each other we will no longer care
She down deep doesn't trust you
Not like I can, not like I do
Oh but she pretends well and it's always just enough to pull and push right on through
While she has you with her falseness blinded
You sit there, me here, and we both are constantly reminded
Of how our love should have and can still be from here on out forever
Through the sunlight, and any stormy weather
So no I just can't believe
All is over between you and me
Everything it everyone is not always what it exactly seems
And with that said it's easy to see
Just why I don't let go and even if they may keep me awake and why I have to hold on so
tightly to my dreams
For me there's no getting over you and you will certainly need to face it and take a look
around you then you'll finally see
That no matter how much you may try to push it down, pretend, try to control it, I am for
you as you are for me the very air you breathe
So it would seem there in your mind, heart, and soul there's just no getting over me
