Expectations always will always

let you down...

Lonely poems sitting isolated- Something like real life. Poems read secretly in silence..Not even to say Hi: I read your poem today or:Kilroy was here. Lonely poems..sitting on a site read incognito. Snob asks "what is the form"? I am just miniature I just like to write I don't teach literature. When poets fail to acknowledge poetry that could befriend them,it is a sad state. No hope for the larger society. I will find a happier home for my poems one day where people will cheer my poetry and say, "hey way to go" I like the flow. I loved the way you fueled your word play and your poem has made my day. Maybe I will take them all away and put them in a book. Then charge you to look; Over five years I remained true to you,and no gain no refrain.Lonely is the pain isolated poems,feel defeat When traffic is flowing and no one visits my street. Hi Vicki. I know what you mean. I have a poem titled "Bad Rap" which is my most viewed poem but, last I looked, only one comment. I wrote it for fun and variety. I actually posted a comment long ago because it looked lonely also. Lol. I often wonder, when there are so many views but no comments, if the poem just doesn't elicit any emotions from the readers. I truly love that you wrote a great poem to call attention to this phenomenon. I will check out your other work. hugs.

Awww Debbie so kind of you.Poor little Poems of mine, some have sat here years,have had so many onlookers and no one to say hello - one poem had 900 visits and not one word left, I even found traces of other poets biting pieces of them off and using parts on other sites. Thank you so much. :-)

Like poems in a zoo people look and say nothing.One person said it is because I do not know forms- well if anyone reads my poem and knows the form in case I don't ,would it be okay to help me out by saying so.?I am a taking a course now. Thanks
