I truly am rather in love with the 50's and 60's and the black and white grayscale ads.

Advertising didn't appeal 100% to the emotions back then. There were still reasons given for using products, although they were awfully shallow ones. :) gw

"Winstons taste good like a click, click cigarette should," and "see the USA in a Chevrolet" - both appealed to my parents though.

I've always been of the opinion that it takes greater skill to create a black and white photograph – just like a shapely woman looks much better in a finely cut black dress. / M
