Nights Without Darkness

The day has ended cloudy and gray
Time is nearing, not much to say
Visions of the past fade and fall
No one answers, only one will call

Clouds of gray will never be again
I will have forgotten where life had been
Garden of petals surrounds the gateway
which I will pass thru without dismay

The silence becomes deafening, shadows appear
Faith has given me joy, belief casted away fear
Above those clouds that were scattered and gray
I found the promise light that turns night into day

"The silence becomes deafening" -this is the profound and utter truth. But sometimes the deafening silence is so preferable to incessant talking from ones who do not understand or value silence at all.
