Night's Misery
I dream about you so much, that it kills me
To know that I’m so close, but cannot touch
The very thought of you, well it so thrills me
Because I love you and your body very much
But, lately, when in bed, you fall to dreamland
I haven’t heart to wake you from your sleep
Your busy day, I know, would tire, too, a man
So, in my dreams, my love, it’s you I keep
One night, maybe, your eyes will open wide
To see me, hear me, dreaming of us two
I hope you’ll know it’s you I keep inside
For all my dreams, my darling, are of you
I wish to share with you a night, not sleeping
But tonight, here, I lie and dream while weeping
