Nights
I look for him in the morning light
I see his face once it gets bright
I see his eyes
Staring into mine
I lean up to kiss him
As the clock strikes nine
I tell him don’t worry
There are many more nights
To come and go
Throughout our lives
I’ll be there in the evening
Later in the night
I’ll meet him in the same room
In which we cuddled till sunlight.
