Night of the Dance
Aime-moi plus que le désir
Plied fingers cross flaming lips
satin sheets tangle amid long chords
moans echo well past our time
notes slow but solemnly still tap in key
Entranced the night of the dance
hunger quenched in moonlit song
fires stoked where whispers spoke
and tender heartstrings play along
Listen, a new day comes alone
patterns lain out on her own
the bluebird sings of tethered hope
from feelings that you've shown
Alive, captured now my sun
caresses fade the black
fill the air with pleasure's pulse
with love, there's no turning back
