Night

Night
Clear sky
Broken Moon
Cats eyes
Comes too soon

Night
Dark room
Thoughts turn into dreams
The mind's eye looms
Nothing is quite what it seems

Night
Different sounds
Heart beat slows down
Pulse quickens as temperature falls
Strange feeling here
Night hunter calls

Night
I see in the dark
My hair stands straight
Moisture settles on my palms
My muscles ache
I see your face

Night
Somehow I know
You're holding back
Refusing to go

Night
You watch me sleep
You guard my soul

You wait for me
