Night

Wake up!
The humans are sleeping
Its time to play
No more hiding under bed
Get out the closets

Jump on the bed
Throw around the clothes
Create a mess
In this room
She will clean it up
They always do

Sunrise
We scrurry to hide
Back under the bed
Go into the closets
The alarms go off

What is this, the human says.
We laugh quietly
Under the bed
We patiently wait
For night to come again
