Newspaper Story

Something terrible is going on
in a distant part
of 
the 
world
    Open your eyes this 
morning
   see what your fellow 
beings 
        are experiencing
Natural disasters - terrible earthquakes and floods
    put one's own 
problems into perspective
   Unemployment may 
be up - you may be broke 
   You can take comfort 
in the fact that your house is not flooded and that the
power lines 
     are operating well in your area
We ride on our small boats 
   toward a safe haven 
    headlines don't tell the full story 
of billions of individuals 
on our blue earth 
Living day to day 
and wondering if there is a G-d 
   who will lead them home

The Situation January 12, 2012 at 4:37 PM look at where these thing are happening and that should give you a clue if God exist. the nations with false religions.

But I'm feeling you here though, because I always feel lucky even with the problems I'm facing. I'm always aware there are people in worse situations than I am. To answer your question, I changed it slightly - the full story is that an old neighbour and her husband were returning home in the evening (summer of '76) and saw the hooded faceless monk hovering, accompanied by a small white dog - her husband died a month to the day later.
