Newborn
Have you ever felt it
A new born Baby's eyes
Hold the secrets of the universe
And stories of days gone by.
Have you ever felt it
A new born baby's hands
Have touched another lifetime,
And lived in other lands.
Have you ever felt it
A new born baby's feet
Have walked in other worlds
And ran on other streets.
Have you ever felt it
A new born baby's mouth,
They want to tell you something
But don't have the words to shout,
Have you ever felt it
A baby's trust so true,
From another place and time
God sends his gift to you.
