New Year's Resolutions
Fighting memories of Jaws series,
and learning how to swim.
Attaining a Black Belt level,
without breaking a bone or jaw.
Learning to drive in highways,
roundabouts, and criss-crossed roads.
Telling someone what I really believe in,
without fear of condemnation.
Being a better writer.
Cuddling with the one I love,
every day and night.
Going for an adventure with my lover,
and enjoying the thrill of getting lost
together.
Having a Laughing Buddha in my house.
More closely connected with the one I love.
More closely connected with myself.
Looking at my resolution list in December 2017,
and saying "I have achieved all this!"
