New Year's Eve

New Year is born like the bright star Take steps back, assess the things old Year’s end is neither end nor beginning It’s a process of experiences to withhold. Bring no tears to any innocent eyes Banish worry, doubt, fear and fright And harm or betray not anyone’s heart Laugh with light and weep not in night Woo but woe not, love but lost not ever Let be said you played, labored, lived well Remember one has just one life to live Life is not a dress rehearsal after all.

A nice new years eve poem. Great advice for us! Leonora always wants ballads and I am not quite sure what she means. I will have to look it up!!

Andrea, I* am baffled nowadays about Epic, Ballad and ode. I don't know either stick to the form or the essence and meaning of the form
