New Years

Pleasant are the days
When we live the right ways
Are the flowers that bloom in Spring
Are the birds that sing

Grace that says, “Thank You”
Love that fills our hearts
Peace that plays
The parts

New Years comes to me with a snow capped hill
A baby sleeping on a big bed that wouldn't awaken to see
That a far away call from Texas
For me to see

New Years a happy home
To see the days
When my sons will all kneel
And pray
And say, “Thank You”
