New Years
NEW YEARS
New Year’s Day
Beginning of a new year
The first day of a new chapter
The start of a new beginning
Although sometimes these things
Occur in December- minus the New Year
But for most New Years is special
And for others it is mediocre
This has been going on for over four thousand years
“You can chitchat with someone daily, and still,
It’s not as special as what you have when you
Sit quietly in front of someone special
We each have a chance to amend some wrongs
To hope for serenity and plant some trees while
The bees are dormant - not everyone has a special
Someone but still we have New Years
