New Year Promises
The time is nigh, to contemplate,
as this tired year begins to sigh.
Will promises we this year make,
ring out wild bells to the wild sky?
Resolutions are made to break,
why should we even want to try?
Come, let’s do it for our own sake,
ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
A new year brings fresh hope to all.
Put our best foot forward and vie.
In the book of life proudly scrawl,
ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
Make your mark, write it on the wall.
Stand proudly, let us hear your cry.
Bring this message to one and all.
Ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
