New Year
NEW YEAR
a clear slate with chalk
don’t bollix up the board
with mathematical equations
let it snow from erasers
applauding forgiveness
let your words wander
from coast to coast
covering the pristine green
let arm circles soak up
all the carbonized words
and begin again
with resolution
