New Year 2023

I have beaten down another dusty road And worked through each interesting episode Of a year that is now set aside To remember and its consequences to abide There are some who now don’t answer our call As we remember them in their final fall And we move on as it always is Life’s comedy played out without a tis So 2023 is here to take its place As it unwinds in a new rat race And for all our family and friends Happy New Year is what we send. © Paul Warren Poetry
