New Tenure, Fresh Hopes
Welcome to the hot seat our new president
where pressure and strain are the porters of your office
you might have got our mandates
but our minds are filled with clouds of uncertainties
Please number one citizen, concentrate
and avoid any form of foul play
remember that we are not a herd of cows
being directed without a say or question
Challenges have got big mouths on us
but we hope your solutions will make them bow,
we are not interested in you impressing us
or any of your steps to make us marvel ‘wow’
So don’t achieve little and shout so loud
or stay too comfortable in your well protected house.
If you spoon feed the little doubts in our hearts
we will run rout to ensure you vacate the throne
but we wish you well for the good of the Nation
and hope in the end, we will stand in the glory of accomplishments
