New Santa On New Year

New Year
on the anvil, usual wishes kept at Nil

Wishing
Santa not carrying sack full of of gifts

But instead
visiting Terrorist den with empty sack

And
stealing lethal arms of terrorist

And
placing PEACE WREATH in ammunition empty boxes

New Year
when they open lethal weapon boxes

Peace
is all they behold, hopefully wisdom embraces

New Year
they surrender, year after year remain no fear

Peace
wreath and not guns in their hands, New year all smile ear to ear

Oh, this is a brilliant rendition of the irony of a world that sees times of both war and peace. I hope your holidays and peaceful and filled with joy, Hitendra. Many blessings to you, dear friend. Love, Carolyn
