New Purple Mattress
Falling asleep in a Lazy Boy recliner with the TV on all night
can't sleep in the bed cause I think we are in a fight
Not sure what I did and being sorry is not enough
forgot to read the fine print in this relationship stuff
Baby, I'm sorry you are right and I am wrong
please forgive me, honey I want us to get along
You know I would never hurt you, I'd rather be dead
so darling lets makeup and tonight let me sleep in the bed
If it was something I said I'll never say it again
If it was something I did it will never happen again
So sweetheart please believe me and let this fight end
not sleeping on our Purple mattress makes a restless night in the den
